This was the first video game I made, during my freshman year of college. I wanted it to be special so I decided to lean into the branching narrative capabilities of Twine.
The narrative is mostly divided into four storylines, each dealing with the different surrounding kingdoms. Some routes depend on the choices the players makes, others by finding hidden paths, or by wandering around.
There is, however, another path a bit different from the rest. The game's true ending. It is a bit tricky to find, and the route to finish it might take a few attempts, but I feel it is very worth it in the end.
It was fun making the game and my classmates enjoyed it, but that wasn't the end of the updates.
The orginal artworks for the game had gone missing while moving out of the dorms. Leaving behind a mess of broken links. At the time, I decided to put in temporary placeholder images and moved onto other projects.
Morph ver. 1.0
Morph ver. 1.3
A couple of years later, version 1.3 of the game was momentarily hosted on this website while I continued to move my game files around.
Beside some light editing and reorganizing the layout, the game was left as is.
In December of 2023, I found some old notes. Once I realized what those scribbles were, I created new artworks resembling the original sketches and added them into the game.

A rare visitor
And with it, came version 1.5.
The 5th year anniversary edition of Morph was published on Itch.io.
These characters will eventually make a reappearance in future games. Until then, this is their humble beginnings and I hope to show what I have in mind for them in the future.
Bonus Trivia:
Some of my favorite endings are #18 and #19.
