This game had several name changes throughout its development. The official title came about during the last month of development. I like the name 'Primal Knockout', it has a nice ring to it.

I joined this game team as a character animator. The rigging for the characters were already done and someone else was working on the special effects. I mostly focused on the character's fighting moves.

The main challenge for this project was how the fighting arena would get gradually smaller over time. It's a really cool mechanic but that also meant the character movements had to be fairly tight.

With the arena's collapse being different with each interation, it took lots of testing to make sure there wouldn't be any issues using the characters.

This was the first game I worked on where the players could use a combination of keyboards and game controllers for its multi-player support.

I didn't do any of the programming but this cool idea lingered in my mind for later projects I joined.
